Family Vacation

We had an awesome time in Cancun a couple weeks ago. It was really hard to come back home. We went with some friends and their 2 kids. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort right on the beach. We had a really good view of the beach from our balcony in our room. Jared slept in every morning and we loved that! We would wake up each morning and sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean waves : )

All of the food and drinks were included so we definitely had our fill of both! We spent every day at the beach which was like a 2 minute walk from our room. Jared LOVED playing in the sand and riding the waves with daddy. We ate at sit-down restaurants for dinner every night and had Seafood, Mexican, Italian, Steakhouse and they even had a Japanese Sushi place!

After dinner, they had different entertainment shows in the theater. They also had a mini-golf course which was fun. We also went on a boat ride that took us way out in to the ocean and then we took a submarine ride and saw lots of pretty fish and coral.

Jared did so good on the plane rides and had a great time too. If you ever want to go to Cancun, I would definitely recommend the place we stayed at. Especially if you bring kids- it was very kid friendly!Jared loved the big pirate ship in the kids pool area.

But as all vacations do, ours came to an end. The guy in customs put it mildy to us and said "Welcome back to reality" as we got back home. : )
